Confused About PF Deductions After Resignation? Need Guidance on March and April Contributions

Mokalmrunal
Dear Seniors, This is regarding PF formalities after resignation. I have resigned from my earlier company on 23rd March 2016, and my Last Working Day (LWD) was on 4th April 2016.

PF Deduction for March and April

My query is, will my old company deduct my PF for March and April?

PF Contribution Update

My second query is, I have downloaded my PF passbook from the PF website, but the last contribution I can see is from January's salary paid in February. They have deducted PF from my February salary as well, but I cannot see any update for March 2016. If the company is not deducting PF for March, then at least they should deposit my February PF in March. Kindly guide.

Till when you worked in your previous company, your former employer is bound to deduct and deposit PF for that period. In case this has not happened, please raise a support ticket.

Thank you.

Hi, the passbook shows the updated value only. Your employer will deduct PF till April 4 and deposit the same. Your passbook is actually 2 months delayed since the PF organization takes 60 days to reconcile. You can apply for PF during July 2016 and not earlier.
