Salary Limit for Provident Fund Contributions: What's the Employer's Responsibility?

Hemant Dugar
Dear Sir/Madam,

I want to know what the limit of salary is beyond which the employer is not liable for contribution to P.F. I have heard that beyond a Basic salary of 25000, the employer is not liable to contribute. Please reply as soon as possible.
