Seeking Advice: Is My Experience Enough for a Manager or GM Role in HR/Admin?

My name is S. Gopinath, living in Tamil Nadu, Tirupur.

Qualification

M.Sc in Statistics, PGDCA, Diploma in Materials Management, PG Diploma in PM, IR & Labour Welfare - (2015 BATCH-CPC).

Age

41 years.

Work Experience

16 years and 7 months in Stores/Purchase/HR/Admin.

Presently Working

A distributed firm in Tirupur - HR/Admin. Number of persons working: 30.

I am currently applying/trying for a higher post - Manager-HR/Admin, GM-HR/Admin. Could you please provide me with your kind advice/suggestions for obtaining this position? Are my experience and qualifications suitable for this post?
