Do Group Companies at the Same Address Need Separate Shop Licenses in Gujarat?

Whether it is mandatory to take two Shop and Establishment Licenses for the Group Companies working at the same address/Office, or can we take one in any name and apply for Professional Tax Registration for all the group companies? The query is for Gujarat Circle.

I think the Gujarat Shop and Establishment Act requires you to apply for registration under the Act for each individual company and office. There is no minimum number of employees required for the applicability of the Act. So, as long as you have even one employee for that company, you need a separate license.
