Yes, once an employee is a member of the PF Scheme, he will continue to be so, and you are required to pay the contribution, though you can confine it to Rs. 15,000/-.
If a person is working for half a day (4-5 hours) and for that period he is drawing a salary of about 8000 Rs., do we have to pay PF for him too? And how to show NCP days for him.
Even a part-time employee is entitled to be a member of P.F. once he is already a member of the PF scheme or his wages are below Rs. 15,000/- per month. The procedural aspect can be verified from the P.F. website, or other members can contribute on this issue.
