Termination for Misconduct: Is Full and Final Settlement Required or Not?

Dear Seniors,

Does a company need to do a full and final settlement in the case of termination of services for misconduct, or does it go as per the appointment terms and conditions? Please share your views.

FNF needs to be done even if termination is due to misconduct. It will be illegal to withhold his balance payments.

For example, PF balances are payable, bonuses, balance pay, etc.

The full and final settlement should be processed even if the case ends in misconduct. Please check for any recoveries that may be necessary. Kindly inform me if the experience letter can be provided or not.
