Forgotten EPF Password and Lost Mobile Number: How Can We Help Our Employee Access Her PF Portal?

One of our employees has forgotten her EPF member portal password. She has also lost her mobile number registered in the EPF portal and does not remember the cell number. Due to this, she is unable to access the PF portal. Kindly suggest a solution to solve her problem.

If the lady is affiliated with your company, someone must have her mobile number; she should share the number with her acquaintances, relatives, and friends. They should "SAVE" the number. I am not directly involved in the EPF activities, but if you, as the HR person for the woman, approach the EPF office and request the duplicate password, you can certainly assist her. If that is not feasible, her number can be obtained through any of the aforementioned methods. Even if she presents her ID, address proof, etc., she can request the number from her service provider (Airtel, Vodafone, Idea, etc.). Subsequently, you can apply for a duplicate number.
