Notice Period Policy

Dear Sir,
Greetings of the day !!
I soujanya, working as a Reservation Associate in The golkonda hotel hyderabad, given my resignation on 24/02/16 with one month notice period and my last day will be on 24/03/16.
my hr team has kept my pay on hold just because i gave my resignation in the monthend. And I didnot get my feb month salary till the date . upon asking they said i will get it in the month of april after my clearance.(feb month pay along with march month)
Please advise me how to proceed

I hope they would have kept in hold and they may clear 2 months wages as well as any outstanding as FnF. No need to worry. I hope it will me cleared.

It is the practice in HR Functions. Once the resignation is submitted, organization may hold the salary as long as the notice period of working of an employee is completed and the same can be settled as full and final settlement after the relieving formalities are over.

But why they are not releasing my feb month pay
They supposed to hold March month pay right.

Of course it is at the discretion of the management. If you want money for any urgency, you may request them in writing to release an advance pay advising them to adjust the same in the full & final settlement. The Management may or may not consider it. Other wise, you have to bear it till F & F is arrived at
