How to Correctly Record an Employee's Exit Date in PF When ECR Doesn't Show It?

This is my first post. Please guide me as I am a little confused about which date of leaving to mention in PF. One of our employees left on 30 January 2016 and joined a new company on 1 February 2016. Now, in PF, when I mention 30 Jan 2016 as his date of exit, it doesn't show in ECR. Please guide me on what I should do. I need to pay this month's PF before the 12th.

According to my best knowledge, you don't have time. So, first of all, you should fill in the date of Exit as 01.02.2016. After submitting the ECR, you will need to contact your regional P.F. office.

Dear Sir,

I have mistakenly entered the Date of Exit (DOE) of a member in EPFO. Please advise me on how I can rectify the DOE in EPFO.
