Does ESI Deduct from Bonuses in Gross Salary Under 15000? Seeking Guidance

Dear seniors,

I want to know if an employee's gross salary includes a bonus, will ESI be deducted from the bonus? In my organization, after amending the bonus act, a bonus head has been included in the employee's gross salary. In this scenario, if an employee's gross salary is less than 15000, then ESI will be applicable.

Kindly provide appropriate guidelines.

Sir, please indicate what type of bonus is being paid to the employees. Whether it is an incentive bonus, attendance bonus, proportionate yearly bonus, etc.? What is the method of calculation of such bonus?
