Confused About Calculating Total Man Hours for Training Sessions? Let's Clarify Together

DHANANJAY SWAIN
Hello friends,

I do have some confusion. We have completed 12 training sessions with 120 participants, each session lasting 12 hours. What will be the Total Man Hours (TMH)?

Is it:
12 hours x 120 workers = 1440 hours
or
120 hours?

Because if we train 10 people for one hour in each session, it will be:
1 x 10 = 10 hours per session
In 12 sessions:
10 x 12 = 120 hours

Which calculation is correct?

Please provide clarification.

Training man-hours (for industry) - 120 man x 12 hrs. = 1440 hrs.

Training man days = 1440 / 8 = 180 days.

The same may deviate for the training providers as 120 hrs.
