Employee shift schedules depend on the strength of your workforce and the nature of your company, whether it is in IT or Non-IT. Typically, IT firms follow a flexible timing policy.
I have about 40 employees working in morning, afternoon, and evening shifts. I need the totals of hours worked in a month, days absent, days scheduled to work, etc.
Please create different types of work schedules and assign them to groups of employees who will be working different shifts. The system will be able to calculate all the data regarding the hours worked.
If you are using SAP, please let me know, and I will send you the steps and their connection to the employee groups.
