Forced to Resign After Just 2 Months: What Legal Steps Can I Take to Challenge This?

Baluviji
I was employed in an IT organization in Bangalore from 4th Jan 2016. They are forcing me to resign on 16th Feb 2016 without even assigning any deliverables, team, or specific job role. Despite my 12 years of experience, I was asked to sit with different teams to observe their work. When I sought clarity on my role as per the initial interview discussions, they claimed that I do not fit into their culture and asked me to resign. They acknowledge that it's their failure to assess my experience and fit accurately.

Legal Options for Challenging Forced Resignation

What legal options do I have to challenge their decision, considering they want to close the matter with one month's notice pay? I had left a previous job for this role, and finding a new job may take a couple of months. How should I proceed in this situation? Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

Please advise.

Moving Forward After Job Termination

You really have no option but to move on. Legal remedies exist for every civil wrong, but do you have the time and energy to pursue a court battle? When you were being shuffled around with no clear job assignment, did you try to find out what was happening? In hindsight, this lack of assigned duty should have been a warning sign that something was wrong.

In such cases, I would put the experience behind me and actively concentrate on looking for a new job, as that is more important than anything else. Demand one month's pay in writing. You should probably name such organizations that do not treat employees properly and, through casual recruitment, cause inconvenience to employees. This will help other people avoid joining such difficult companies.
