Bhavani6472
My PF account number is: KA/MAL/MH/943/06/0000268.

Name: Bhavani K.

Could you please inform me about my EPF balance status and how I can apply for it?

If you have a UAN number, then you can register to check the EPF balance. To claim, it's better to approach the company.

Your question is not clear bhVani.

First, it's a bad idea to give confidential information like PF number on an open forum. But exactly what do you want to do? Most of the things related to this have been discussed many times on the forum, and you will get the details simply by searching in the "research" option at the top of the site.

Checking Your PF Balance

The simplest method to know your balance is to give a missed call from your registered number to [Phone Number Removed For Privacy Reasons].

Important Points to Consider

1) If you go two months without employment, you are currently eligible to withdraw 100% of your PF balance.

2) If you withdraw the PF balance before completing 5 years of service and if the PF settlement is equal to or exceeds Rs. 30,000, you will be subject to a TDS of 10% with a PAN card and 34.608% without a PAN card at the time of settlement.

The withdrawal procedure can be found here: http://quikchex.in/get-provident-fun...ide-employees/

There are two easy ways to know your PF balance:

1 - You can check your balance online by logging onto the EPFO website and filling the necessary details.

2 - You can give a missed call from your registered number, and an SMS will be sent to you with your balance details.

Here is the article I have referred to, which has all details regarding how to check, transfer, and withdraw your PF balance - https://quikchex.in/withdraw-provident-fund-balance/
