How Can Employees Activate Their UAN When Their Mobile Number Has Changed?

Good afternoon all. I have a query regarding UAN activation. Please explain to me. As an employer, we have given PF numbers and UAN numbers to our employees. At the time of activating UAN, we need the registered mobile number linked with UAN. The problem is that most employees don't retain the same mobile number for a long time, which creates a problem in activating UAN. Please explain how one can activate UAN with a new mobile number that is not linked with UAN.

To activate UAN without a mobile number, you can follow these steps:

1. Visit the EPFO portal and log in to your account.
2. Go to the 'Manage' section and select 'Contact Details.'
3. Update your contact details with an alternate number or email address.
4. Save the changes and proceed to activate your UAN without the mobile number linked.
