Am I Eligible for a Monthly Pension After Withdrawing My PF from ITC PSPD?

B Narasimha Murthy
Respected Sir,

I joined the ITC PSPD organization on 3rd September 1985 and left the company on 31st July 2008 after 23 years of service. Subsequently, I withdrew my PF amount. My query pertains to whether my Employee Pension Scheme amount is included or excluded in this PF sum. Am I eligible to apply for a monthly pension?

Thank you.

Hi, Sir,

An employee who has completed 10 years as a PF member and is aged above 60 years is eligible to receive a monthly pension. Please note that your PF amount does not include the pension amount.

Dear B Narasimha Murthy,

If you were a member of the erstwhile Family Pension Scheme, you might have automatically become a member of EPS-95 (PF pension). If so, you are eligible for a pension on completion of 58 years. Also, reduced pension is applicable from 50 to 57 years.
