Cash Salary Background Verification

Hi Seniors
I worked for a small software company. My salary was paid by cash 18000 only and payslip was given..Now I have been working in mnc. During joining i have provided the last 3 months salary slips and appointment letter and service letter of my prev. company
The Background verification team now asking for proof of cash
I have spoken to my prev. company they NOT ready to give me salary certificate or any other documents.

This is quite an obvious case. Any salary drawn without a proof would remain questionable.
However, other supporting documents such as Joining Letter and Appointment Letter will remain the proof.
Your salary slip is a proof on its own. However, the least you can offer is the Bank account statement, where you used to deposit the amount received from your employer, if at all you had it.
However, these are supporting documents and not the exact proof.
Did you ever fill the form 16 while working at that firm ?

Did you file IT return by any chance?
Can you ask your employer to provide you xerox copies of salary voucher for the amount he has paid you?
Also explain to your current employer,that being a small company,everything may not be upto the makr for 100% satisfaction.

For whatever amount that was paid to you, you might have signed any cash voucher or some document which was given to you by accounts department for acknowledgement of payment towards salary. please try to collect the same and give it to them. or else ask your BG department to directly approach the respective payment department for verification.

I Have Joining Letter, Relieving Letter, Salary Slips of last 3 months which are sealed and signed by authorized person from the company.
will these document work in clearing BG verification process.

These authenticated documents should be adequate to clear background verification.

Dear Little shine you are asking the same question again. your current employer needs a proof of your payment even though you produced appointment, Joining Letter, Relieving Letter, Salary Slips of last 3 months which are sealed and signed by authorized person from the company. these days many candidates getting such kind of documents from fake consultancies.Thats why the bg team is asking for proof of salary paid whether in cash or account. since your previous company gave in cash so they much hav recorded your payment in there book of accounts. so get the same proof from your previous accounts team or ask your bg team to meet them and check with them.
