Understanding the Projected Industrial DA Increase from April 2016: What Does It Mean for You?

As you know, the Industrial DA w.e.f. 01.01.2016 for the 2007 and 1997 scales are 112.4% and 258.6% respectively. With the release of the All India Consumer Price Index for the month of December 2015, the projected Industrial DA w.e.f. 01.04.2016 will be 112.9% (an increase of 0.5%) and 259.4% (an increase of 0.8%) respectively.

Note: AICPI for January and February 2016 has yet to come. Final figures may vary accordingly.
