New Maternity Leave In India

Please update is new Maternity leave (26 week) Policy already approved by Govt? Any notice or circulation from the labour office regarding the same?

Be patient. Not a few days job. You will have to wait for completion of the phases of journey of the proposal about drafting of the amendment bill, approval by the cabinet, presentation and passing of the bill in both the houses of Parliament and finally the assent of the President of India to take shape of the Amendment Act and notification.

You seemed to have over estimated the period of enactment to a large extent. You can expect the bill to be passed before the next general election of the Parliament.
