Hon'able Justice Ashok Kumar Dasadhikar of Calcutta High Court ruled " Employees of housing cooperatives are rendering personal services and are not emplyees of a commercial establishment. They are not covered under the Shops and Establishments Act and so do not have the right to form trade unions.".
