I am new to this site and new to compliance, and I am looking for your help with the queries below. I am working in an IT-enabled services company, and our company is registered under "THE OFFICE OF THE REGISTRAR OF COMPANIES, PUNJAB HIMACHAL PRADESH & CHANDIGARH AT JALANDHAR (UNDER THE COMPANIES ACT 1956).
Queries on Compliance Categories
1. In which category does it fall to check the minimum wages and other labor laws?
2. In which category does it fall to check the attendance register that needs to be maintained in hard copy because presently, I am keeping all records in soft copy in an Excel sheet?
3. In statutory compliance, what types of documents need to be maintained in hard copy, which are required to be shown in audits?
Presently, I am maintaining records in soft copy as well as signed hard copy monthly records such as the salary sheet, ESI and PF contributions, their challans, monthly payment receipts of ESI and PF, attendance, leave records, the list of new joiners and resignees, and full and final settlement.
