Facing a Delayed Appraisal Due to Performance Concerns: Should I Consider Legal Action?

Yadavprashant28@gmail.com
Dear all,

Please suggest to me what I should do in the below case:

"My HR manager gave me the appraisal letter that is applicable from 1st Oct 2015, but actually it's applicable from 1st September. However, they have now put it on hold as my RM requested the same due to poor performance."

I am unsure of what steps to take next. Is it advisable for me to pursue legal action regarding this issue?

Is it your real problem or a hypothetical academic query?

If the question relates to your real problem, first be clear about why you want to pursue legal action. In fact, your question is unclear. Have you only received the form? Have you filled in the requisite information in the form? Is the process of reporting, reviewing, and accepting officers complete? Have they communicated any adverse remarks about your poor performance to you?

I received the letter which stated that it's applicable from 1st October 2015 and is signed by our HR head. Now my manager has asked to put this on hold due to my low performance. In reality, this appraisal is supposed to be applicable from 1st December 2015, but on paper, it shows 1st October. Please suggest what I should do next.

Mr. Prashant, you are still silent on my question, "What is the reason you want to pursue legal action? Have you only received the form? Have you filled in the requisite information in the form? Is the process of reporting, reviewing, and acceptance by officers complete, and have they communicated any adverse remarks to you regarding your poor performance?"

If you don't have any answers to my queries, that clearly indicates that you have merely presented a hypothetical situation to the members without any real problem. If you indeed have such an issue, could you explain the reason for not replying to my queries?
