Hai all, one of our employees' date of birth is entered wrong in epf account. Now he wants to withdraw his amount since he has resigned from our organization. Firstly, I have to submit a form to change his date of birth and then submit his withdrawal forms. Please suggest me the procedure about how to change his date of birth

As this kind of issue, you can write a covering letter for Change of Dob letter (Which one is wrongly updated with ecr portal by mistakenly ) along with claim form 10c & 19 submit to EPF office, It will be clear.

if covering letter should be print company letter head also authorised signature should be their.Then only it will accepted from EPF office.

The Application for correction of DOB of the employee should be supported with SSLC OR DOB Certificate issued by a Competent Govt. Authority for acceptance by PF Dept. with narration/reason/explanation for change of DOB.
