Facing PF Transfer Rejection: Why Was My Request Denied and What Can I Do Next?

PF Transfer Rejection Issue

My claim to transfer my PF account TN/MAS/31309/253745 to my current employer's PF account was rejected by the RPFO Chennai office. They stated that the EPS was not transferred from my previous employer's account (PY/BOM/10088/136856) to TN/MAS/31309/253745, which has resulted in the suspension of further PF transfers. I received this clarification through grievance number RCHEN/E/2015/13666.

Subsequently, I raised another grievance with my previous employer to confirm the same. The grievance ID was SRBOM/E/2015/06427. However, based on the comments provided against grievance number SRBOM/E/2015/06427, my previous employer has already sent my EPS particulars to RPFO Chennai on January 9, 2015. They also attached a copy of annexure K in their reply to me and copied RPFO Chennai (dated January 1, 2016).

If the EPS particulars have already been sent, why was my PF transfer rejected? What steps should I take now?

Go to the online RTI portal and raise an RTI request for the same with EPFO. The issue will be reconciled and settled within 10 to 15 days at most. You will receive clarification details by post at your address, which you can keep for your records.

In addition to Divakar, I think you must apply for the transfer of EPF/EPS accumulation once again with concern to EPFO, along with detailed previous correspondence.
