Frustrated with Delayed Salary After Resignation: How Can I Get My Payment?

vinita Mamgain
Salary Issue
I have submitted my official resignation on the 3rd of November '15, and the company promised me that my FNF (Full and Final) settlement would be done within 45 days, and my salary would be credited to my account within the given timeline. Now, 45 days have passed, but the company has still not paid my salary. HR also sent me a confirmation email stating that my salary would be credited within 45 days. However, two months have passed, and they have not credited my salary. I have approached them more than 10 times, but they have not responded or replied to my emails. Please suggest what I can do. They have not paid any employee's salary after resignation; it seems they withhold all employees' salaries. I would be very thankful if you could assist me with this issue as I am extremely frustrated, particularly with a situation that has persisted for a long time. Please help me; I need my salary.

If your salary is less than 18000/-, you can raise the complaint with the labour officer (Deputy Commissioner of Labour) in your area under the Payment of Wages Act. They will take necessary action to release your payment with interest.
