Struggling to Land a Job After Four Interviews: What Should I Focus on Improving?

bhavya_15
I worked as an IT Recruiter at XYZ Consultancy and resigned last month due to personnel issues. Now, I am looking for a job change and have attended four interviews, but I have not been selected. Every day, I recollect the discussions that happened with the hiring managers and try to improve myself. However, it seems to be of no use. Can you please suggest what I need to improve on?

The details provided are inadequate for anyone to give a specific suggestion. What are your qualifications? What is your experience? What are your areas of strength? Based on your past experience, what are your weaknesses? How is the job scene currently? Who is recruiting individuals with experience similar to yours?

The biggest plus point I see in your message is that you want to improve. Very few, even in the late stages of their careers, dare to introspect. After you have gone through the above dispassionately, you will find answers for yourself.

Is the job profile fully fitting in with your qualifications and work experience? Do a critical analysis where you could have lost out during the interview or screening. Did you interact with other candidates present there? Were they of a similar profile? Failures are a stepping stone to success. There is no point in getting disheartened in any way. Keep trying, and you will be successful in getting a suitable job. All the best.
