Hi, Mr Chandran, under Factories Act, management is free to segregate and prepare list of management staff who will be out for applicability of provisions like OT and similar other matters. Rest of the population are workers eligible to OT benefits. Those management Staff are THUS TAKEN CARE ,given better work conditions, facilities than workers get in ordinary course.

Hello seniors,
in factory if 1st shift duty hours is 7.00 A.M to 15.30 P.M in which 0.30 (half) hours is lunch and thereafter if worker works from 15.30 to 19.00 P.M in such case he should get O.T for 3.50 x double or any other figure.
secondly if 2nd shift start from 15.00 P.M to 23.00 P.M in which 0.30 hours is dinner but if worker is called for 12 hours duty from 19.00 P.M to 7.00 A.M that what O.t should be given to him i.e., 3.50 hours or 04 hours.
thirdly as shown above in 12 hours duty the worker should give production @ 1.50 time or not i.e, if for normal working hours if production is 10,000 pieces than for above 12 hours duty it should be 15,000 pieces or less, please help.
