EPF & EPS Transfer: Resolving Pension Issue and PF Trust Concerns

I have applied for EPF & EPS transfer (4.9 years exp). EPF has been transferred into a new account. However, my EPS has not been transferred. Where is my EPS amount? Please suggest what to do?

Have you submitted the form for EPs transfer? If yes, then discuss it with your HR team. Many times, these kinds of issues arise and will be rectified by the EPFO upon the request of your employer on your behalf.

If EPF amount is transferred, EPS will also be transferred by default. You can visibly see the amount transferred in the EPF, but in the case of EPS, the number of years of service, like 4.9 years, and the last drawn salary details will be transferred to the new EPF account. This is the practice in the EPFO.

If you need proof of it, you can submit an RTI request at the regional EPFO. They will provide all the documents related to your transfer within 15 to 30 days.

Please clarify if your previous company has a PF trust. If yes, then you have to fill out the EPS Form 10-C again for EPS transfer from RPFC to RPFC. In the case of a PF Trust, only the PF amount may be transferred.
