Legal Dilemma: Does the Telangana Shop and Establishment Act Apply to Nationwide Banks?

Is the Telangana Shop and Establishment Act applicable to a bank with a Pan-India presence? Please advise.

As per my knowledge, the Shops and Commercial Establishment Act comes under the state subject. Therefore, it will not be applicable across India. The state act will be applicable in the state where the establishments are operating. For example, if your establishment is operating in Delhi, then the Delhi Shops and Establishment Act will be applicable, and in Uttar Pradesh, their act will be applicable.

Thank you for the reply. I think my question was a bit confusing, sorry. The bank also has branches in Telangana. Considering that, will the S&E Act apply to the branches.
