Is My PF Calculation Right? Seeking Help with Employee and Employer Contributions

Renold Edwin
Hi friends,

I have one query. Let's say the basic salary is 14500. The PF employee contribution is calculated as 14500 * 12 / 100 = 1740, and the PF employer contribution is calculated as 14500 * 13.61 / 100 = 1973.45.

Friends, please reply whether this calculation is correct or wrong.

Hi,

If basic is ₹14,500/-, then the EE Contribution would be ₹1,740/-. The ER Contribution would be ₹1,937/- as per the revised admin charges of 0.85%, rounded off to the nearest rupee.

Thank you.
