How Can My Company Get ISO Certified? Seeking Guidance on Procedures and Documentation

manjali
Hi,

My company is not an ISO certified organization but they plan to get an ISO certification. Can anybody help me with the procedure to get an organization ISO certified? What all documents are required and whom do we need to approach initially? Please help.

Regards,
Manjali

Hi,

First of all, please let me know which certification you are interested in: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or ISO 18001. You will need to speak with a consultant regarding this matter.

Thank you.

Hi Girish,

Please let me know in which type of industry you are working and which certifications you have such as ISO 9001, 14001, 18001, or 22000.

Dear Manali,

Please follow the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle as outlined below:

1. Appoint a Management Representative and assign a core team.
2. Identify gaps in documentation and review them with the respective teams/departments.
3. Put the information in standard format.
4. Implement as per documented procedures/manual.
5. Ensure compliance with mandatory procedures (do not forget).
6. Provide internal auditors training.
7. Conduct internal audits.
8. Close out all Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
9. Schedule a Management Review Meeting.
10. Reach out to the certification body.
11. Conduct a pre-assessment audit.
12. Go through the certification audit.

Thank you,
Girish

Hi All,

Can any one of you please help me with the list of documentations for the ISO Certifications? I just wanted the list of documents we need for our software development firm.

Thank you.
