I can understand the burn inside the wound of NIGHT SHIFTS . However, dont you think this is kind of stunning, Neways what i feel in this perspective is " in order to safe guard the female employeees we must come up with a robust system where in no mischeif can be played around.

"There are many people dying out of food poison, for the same reason we cant cut down our daily intake right. we choose the right and the best hygine alternative to do our PET POOJA . Similarly, Cutting down the female staff for night shifts is not a valuable addition to this topic. how to secure them is a main course here.

MY INFERENCE

1) I suppourt our team members who proposed to have a female security guard arranged for the employees as Escort .

2) Also I wish the Cab Management team to prepare and generate a report where in this team takes the initiative to call the employees Residence number and find out whether she reached home safely.

3) Thorough back ground check of the Cab drivers need to be done. Cab Management team should take a underwriting saying "starting from the company premises to the employees home what ever mishap happen, Cab driver holds sole responsibilty, unless he is proved Ignorant."

4) Also Cab Management team should draw a Mapping, so as to command the driver to go in the same way . Any deviance to the same is to be dealt seriously.

5) Last but not least , I wish we should hold some of thier valuables as a Security deposit to the company such as their certificates,Bonds/any valuables to avoid absconding of Driver after mishap.

Pour in your thoughts my dear pals .

Gayathri,
What valuables will you get from the drivers. From a owner cum driver we can fetch his RC book original, but what can be done, if its a driver driven car.

Hello Hr\'s,
I am Aman from Invictus Combat - Safety -Wellness. We provide end to end safety training\'s for women employees.
Women Self Defense training is what every female needs irrespective of her age, profession and lifestyle. The techniques have been developed keeping in mind the threat perception, body types and different age groups. Focus has been to ensure that the techniques work against a bigger, stronger, more aggressive and even armed attacker(s).
Once you train to defend yourself, you no longer have to be completely dependent, for your safety, on others like - police, family, friends etc. One must realize that women have been attacked and victimized by every section of the society; its time they stand up for themselves and REFUSE TO BE PREY\'
Invictus Combat Systems features following in WSD training:
>Threat Detection and Prevention
Spatial Awareness
Negotiating Techniques
Not Looking Like a Target
>Principles of Defense

Session will not make you Sunny Deol

Hi All,

Yeah its a good suggestion if you conduct a self defence or personal safety session in your organization instead of going for day shift for ladies or not hiring them :-@ (which I am completely not in favour of). We are conducting similar safety sessions in our org.

At first I also thought from previous experience that conducting self defence session of 4 or 8 hours will not make me super human and even if I learn something I would probably forget it after some time. But this company called Invictus conducted a really awesome session and changed my perception. Instructor discussed real problems person (men & women) face in day to day life and the way they portrayed it to us was awesome. He told small tips and tricks on how to avoid getting into unwanted situation at first place.

Though he taught us how to take help of your natural reaction and physically fight against opponent (quite easy), but the best thing I like was instructor simply mentioned at the start, 'this 4 hour session will not make you Sunny deol so remove that from your head'. And having both the genders in same session was cherry on top. Thought perception from both genders came out.

I had attended another self defence session in my previous organization as well but that was just how to kick, punch or defence. That guy knew great martial art but with lazy body l have I cannot do that ;-).

I am again saying, this kind of problem cannot be dealt with refusing girls for job or changing their shift timings. Yes, having a guard or male employee also helps but at first every individual should think what have you done for your own safety.

Ritvika
