Stuck in Notice Period: Can I Leave Wipro Without Absconding and Withdraw My PF?

Sur06
Hello sir, I am a fresher and I am working at Wipro. It's been 5 months since I started working here. Now, I have received a job offer from another company in the profile I want to work in. I have been trying to submit my resignation for the last 3 weeks, but there was an issue with my ID which prevented me from doing so. My joining date at the new company is on 1st December, but Wipro has not relieved me yet. I have submitted my resignation, but I will not be able to serve the entire notice period, so will it be considered as absconding? Also, can I withdraw my PF? I do not need an experience letter from the company; I just need my PF.

Dear Surbhi,

You are not able to withdraw PF amount as you joined a new company on 1st December. Generally, after leaving a job, there should be a minimum period of two months to claim the PF amount. You may transfer the amount to the new service.

Hello Abbas,

I know I may not be able to withdraw the PF, but I won't be showing the experience letter of Wipro in the new company. Still, can I transfer the PF? And even for transferring, what is needed to be done?

I think the first thing you need to do is discuss this issue with your HR and see what suggestions he/she gives you.
