Seeking Advice on Building a Competency Map and Assessment Center for Sales Roles

Hello Dear Gems,

Help me with your experiential learnings/knowledge.

I have undertaken a project (as a green belt project); though from an organizational perspective it will follow global best practices (what my boss says for motivating me). However, it's to do the following:

1) Create a competency map for certain sales job roles, and if possible, also create a Human Capital Readiness assessment. Then, find out the critical functional traits required at each level for performing his/her job duties.

2) Based on your competency map, create a training design that will be mandatory for all levels of the Sales & Marketing function.

3) And then, if possible, create a competency assessment center for checking their levels.

4) Now, the main challenge is who will validate their knowledge, skills, and attitude levels apart from boss appraisals.

Please share your experiences, information, and knowledge to help me with some training tools in this forum.

Thank you for the link and your support. 75% of the PPS uploaded in the link is exactly the same, but it's useful. However, I needed some inputs on how to validate a job role skill/competency.
