Dear Sirs,
I want to know, In CTC breakup which allowances should not consider in EPF deduction?
Suppose a person is getting 23000.00 a month. And want to less pf deduction, what options should we have?

Hi,
You have to deduct PF contribution only from Basic+DA so there is no question of which allowances you should consider or not.

Refer the attachment, this will help you understand it much better. The PF is on Basic+DA+any retentation amount (if applicable)
