Understanding PF Withdrawal: Do I Wait 60 Days from Last Day or Settlement Date?

Hello,

I have a query regarding PF withdrawal criteria. My last working day was 16 September 2015, and my full and final settlement was on 23 October 2015. Do I need to wait for 60 days from the last working day or from 23 October?

Secondly, I read in the PF Act point 69.c that if an employee has resigned and is traveling abroad for a job, then the company should clear their PF immediately. Is this correct?

Hi Mr. Dias,

Yes, you were right. The waiting period of 2 months is not applicable for migration from India to abroad, either for employment or settlement.
