Setting Up an HR Department for a New Cardiac Hospital: Seeking Advice on Onboarding and Policies

Dear Hrtians,

Please extend your support for the below-mentioned information. I have been given the opportunity to set up the HR department of a 50-bed Cardiac Hospital. The infrastructure is ready, and we are launching in January 2016, having 3 OTs, recovery/HDU/wards/semi/deluxe beds allotted accordingly.

1. The selection of staff is complete (Clinicians/Tech/Nursing Staff, etc.).
2. I have to arrange for the onboarding of staff with the following:
- Joining formalities.
- Offer letter/appointment letter/checklist/agreement letter.
- Policies to be framed as required in the hospital from joining to relieving.
- SOP to be framed for the department and staff.
- Training and development (needs analysis/performance management, etc.).
- Appraisal policy.
- Outsourcing employees through an agency (Doctors/nurses/tech/support staff/security/canteen) will require their agreement draft and rate master (any obligations in law).
- Outsourced employee CTC breakup (provide me with an Excel sheet if entered CTC, gross, net pay we get a breakup).
- Compensation and benefits for hospital staff.
- Rewards and recognition policy.
- KRA/KPA, etc., to be framed as per the category of staff.

Your speedy reply shall be appreciated.

Regards,
Daniel

Dear Daniel, Much of the information you are seeking is already available on Cite HR. Please try searching in the Cite HR archives. Type "Offer Letter" inside the box labeled "WHAT DO YOU NEED" that you find in the title bar right above. After typing in the box, press the 'research' button next to it. You will get a lot of information. You can also refer to "Related Information" and 'Download Thread' that you find on the right side of this message. Repeat the process for other topics like APPOINTMENT LETTER, AGREEMENT FORMAT, TRAINING, etc.
