Should CHR Create a Forum for Sharing Member Contact Details to Improve Communication?

Hi Guys,

I think CHR should create a separate forum for adding contact details such as email IDs, contact numbers, etc. Existing members need to upload their details in the sheet, and for new members, it should be uploaded during the registration process. This is necessary because many times, members request to share their email IDs or contact numbers.

This initiative will not only enhance communication through postings but also through telephones and personal email IDs. Suggestions are welcome.

The idea is not bad, but as an open forum, this might attract privacy issues. It can work only in a closed group.

Dear Bhatil,

Thank you for your comments. As this is an open forum, my suggestion is that the contact details should be on the CHR only. This way, if anyone would like to have a detailed opinion or suggestions from senior members, they can send emails and get their queries resolved. The contact details will be open to all members.

Great idea. I thought we already had one database. Maybe I am confused as I have spent three hours searching for contact details of all the site members. Ghosh, please can you confirm if it's not available yet. Thanks.
