We are in to engineering contracting business. Many times we send materila such as pumps, airconditioners etc to various building sites in Pune city area . Everytime some local people appear on the site and they claim that they are Mathadi workers. They come on bullet with gold ornaments etc. They dont look like workers. They say we have to pay them money ranging from 2000 for small tempo to 50000 for container load. Most surprising thing is they never do any work. The unloading ,shifting, lifting is done by our staff. But still they demand money. . What the rule says in such case. Which govt office can help us. Can we complaint to anti-extortion department.
