Understanding Widow Pension: Can My Mother Receive My Late Father's EPF Benefits?

My father retired after completing 31 years of his service, and he received an EPF pension of Rs. 2092 monthly for one year. Unfortunately, he passed away last month. My query is: Is my mother eligible to receive my father's pension? If she is eligible, how much money can she receive monthly?

Your mother will receive 50% of your father's pension, which amounts to Rs. 1046/- from the date of his death.
