Delayed PF Contributions: Can I Request EPFO to Generate Damage & Interest Challan?

Dear All,

Please guide me about the Damage & Interest Challan that my company is delaying the payment of monthly PF contributions continuously. I have calculated the Damage & Interest amount. Now, could I request EPFO to generate the challan for damage & interest, or will EPFO generate the challan independently, and we can't request this?

Dear Harish,

You don't have to take extra efforts from your side to pay PF interest and damages. The PF Department will send you a timely notice about the amount and the challan details against which the amount has been calculated. So just chill and try to pay PF contributions timely.
