New Employee Code System: Should We Base It on Hierarchy or Joining Date? Urgent Suggestions Needed

Dear All,

We are implementing a new employee code system in our company for GM and DGM, technical staff, and non-technical staff. It is wise to separate people according to hierarchy or assign the employee code based on their date of joining, month, and year. Please provide your valuable suggestions. This is urgent.

Gauri:

In either of the ways you can give the codes, but try to choose one which doesn't give any sort of trouble. If you give across the board based on their DOJ, that would be really good because you will not have any pain. If at all you want to give department/cadre wise, then you need to be very careful and create different #&039;s.

Thanks,

Employee code based on Date of Joining (DOJ) will be beneficial, as many reports and pieces of information can be gathered using this code.

I have corrected the spelling and grammar errors in your text and formatted it into a properly structured paragraph. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, feel free to ask.

Hi All,

Based on my experience, an employee code can be structured in a way that allows us to identify the category of the employee and their current status. In manufacturing, we implement this system where around 4,000 to 5,000 people are employed.

Thank you

Hi,

In our company, the total number of employees is 50. Can anyone let me know how we can create the employee code? 😢
