Every time your friend/peer outperformed @ work, what was the motivating Factor that enabled him/her go an extra mile.... 1) Internal Competition 2) Rewards & recognition 3) Passion for advancement 4) Work structure or Flexibility 5) Other (Pls explain if other)

An internal drive to do better than others,
A passion to be the best in his field.
Will to conquer/overcome obstacles.
These factors always motivate those who do better than peers in the same field

The company's HR policy with regards to workers performance rewards and welfare makes one to excel. A healthy competition is created for a worker to perform better and move up the ladder.
Most importantly job satisfaction.

A boss who inspires his subordinates to shine and outshine is also a motivating factor.
Employees would like to work under such a boss.

1. A boss who willing to sit together for lunch and make jokes.
2. A boss who is able to pat the shoulder of the worker and say..go have a coffee i will handle this fir you.
3. A boss eho is willing to ask for workers opinion regarding work.
4. A boss who is willing to coach the worker.
And so on.
