I have a question regarding the employee bond. I have been working with an IT company for the last 18 months. At the time of joining, my company had communicated to me to sign a bond. However, I had refused and didn't sign any bond with them. Today, I have received a good offer from another company and want to join it. But my current employer is not ready to give me my relieving letter despite no bond being signed.

Is there any faster way in which I can get this issue resolved and obtain my relieving letter? Is there any community that specifically looks into this matter? Please provide the information on the same.

It is very easy. State the situation to your future employer, then send an email to your current company's HR with your resignation. Don't forget to BCC a copy of this resignation email to your future employer. This will serve the purpose, and your future employer will have a valid legal document to show that you have joined them after completing all formal exit formalities.

When sending the email, make it elaborate. State all the causes, reasons, and all the facts of the matter.

Along with the mail, give a letter to HR and have them sign it for acknowledgement. Then, forward the same to your new employer.
