I'm pursuing my MMS, and I strongly prefer HR over other specializations. However, my main concern is the salary scale in HR. I've noticed that the compensation for HR positions is not as competitive as in Marketing or Finance. I understand the importance of following my interests rather than focusing solely on money. However, considering my family's financial situation, I need to be practical about my career choice.

Could someone please provide insights on the typical starting salary after completing MMS in HR, as well as the potential maximum salary after three years of work experience?

Pay scale depends on the sector, location, knowledge, and experience to start with. Therefore, there is no minimum other than minimum wages when it comes to freshers.

Moving on to 3 years post-joining, it completely depends on your performance and, in turn, the company's performance during those years. So, again, there is no set criteria that a certain percentage needs to be increased year on year.

Choosing Passion Over Salary

Therefore, look for a job to learn to start with. If you say that Marketing and Finance provide higher salaries, but you do not like those professions, then you will be frustrated and will always want to move from that job. So, do not look for money; rather, look for passion in choosing your profession.
