Are New Employees Eligible for Bonuses? Seeking Clarity on Our Company's Policy

Hi all,

Please help me with a query on the bonus policy. Our company is one year old. A few employees joined two months ago, in September '07. Are these employees eligible to receive a bonus? If yes, kindly clarify in each case:

1. If the company gives a bonus in November '07.
2. If the company gives a bonus in March '07.
3. If the company is not earning any profit.

Up to 5 years, there is no rule under the Bonus Act. But if your management has decided on a bonus, then employees who joined before February 2007 are eligible for the bonus.
