Confused About PF Form No. 31? Do You Need to Pay Interest on Withdrawals?

Dear PF Form No. 31 is for withdrawal or a loan. As per my understanding, it is for a partial withdrawal from our PF Form No. 19 amount. However, I am confused about whether we need to pay interest on the withdrawal/loan.

PF Form 31 is for advance application or partial withdrawal, and no interest is to be paid as the PF account is deducted. There is a limit for withdrawal, and it is allowed only for a few cases. For more information, you can consult a PF consultant.

PF Form 19 is to claim PF dues (if resigned).
