I withdraw my resignation, and now they are asking me to sign a letter which says that I will not leave the company for 1.5 years. If I leave before that time, I will not be granted a release, and no experience letter will be provided. There is no policy written anywhere that mandates signing such a document if a resignation is rescinded. If I refuse to sign, they are insisting that I serve the notice period and leave. This situation raises questions about my credibility. Please help.
