Understanding Sick Leave Under the Factory Act: How Much Are Employees Entitled To?

Can one share the section under the Factory Act for sick leave as I required what is the minimum SL which an employee is entitled to? In ESIC, they have mentioned sick leave. Is it applicable to those employees who are covered in ESI?

There is no provision for sick leave in the Factories Act. It is based on the management's leave policy. Some factories may design sick leave and casual leave, but there is no specific section in the Factories Act for sick leave.
