Understanding Casual Leave: How Many Days Are You Entitled to Under the Factory Act?

Could someone please share the section under the Factory Act regarding casual leave? I need to know what is the minimum number of casual leave days an employee is entitled to.

The Factories Act stipulates only earned leave, which is one day for every 15 days of working in the previous calendar year. However, CL is mentioned in the Standing Orders Act where it is 7 days in a year, and the Model Standing Order is applicable to all establishments except those factories having certified standing orders.

Casual leave depends on the State Industrial Establishment Act; most states provide 7 days of casual leave.
